BSF soldier martyred in ceasefire violation by pakistan New Delhi:A soldier of the border security force (BSF) was martyred early Tuesday after pakistan violated ceasefire yet again in jammu and kashmir's samba sector. The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of the tuesday when pakistani forces began unprovoked firing from across the LoC in the samba sector.While indian forces retaliated strongly ,a BSF constable Devender kumar lost his life. Mumbai man run over by train while attempting to save commuters A 50 years old man die while trying to save others on railway tracks between sion and matunga railway stations in Mumbai on wednesday afternoon. Mohammad altaf,a resident of Bandra and tailor by profession ,was on his way to Dadar when the train he was travelling in halted between Matunga and Sion railway stations. There was a fault in the engine of hyderabad mumbai express which stopped at Dadar station due to which trains were stopped  at sion and matunga. People started getting off the train and started walking on the railway tracks.Altaf was also one of them.He tried warning several people on the tracks to not walk on them but on the areas besides the tracks when he was hit by Kalyan bound local train. People alerted the railway control room about his injury following which head constable Iqbal sheikh,the station master of Matunga railway station and helpers reached the spot with a stretcher.

Tense moments as sharad pawar got locked inside auditorium Satara Maharashtra: National Congress Party(NCP) president sharad pawar was locked up inside an auditorium in Maharashtra's satara on wednesday,after a door lock suddenly got jammed giving anxious moments to his party workers. The incident happened after Mr Pawar addressed a packed media conference and was getting ready to leave the venue,said NCP state spokes person Nawab malik. The door however refused to budge. The handle on it appeared to have jammed the locked  preventing it from opening ether from inside or outside Mr Malik said. Several NCP legislators activists,journalists and auditorium staffers attempted to open the door but without much success.They had to break the lock.  The 77 years old appeared amused by the development.After some 10 minutes,he was able to walk able to walk out of the venue. Man in New Delhi stabbed to death over monetary dispute A 24 years old man was stabbed to death by some men following a monetary dispute,police said today. The incident was reported late night yesterday when the police was informed that the man identified as Mohit was lying in southeast Delhi's Dakshinpuri area with stab injuries. Mohit was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,the police said. On complaint registered by Mohit's family two of the accused have been arrested and two are absconding. Mohit's family had alleged that  their neighbour Himanshu has called him down to talk to him. Himanshu his brother rahul along with aravind and ankush had  killed mohit, the family said in the complaint. Markets open on a higher note on wednesday The 30-scrip sensitive index(sensex) on wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade. The sensx of the BSE after opening at 35,328.91 points and touched a high of 35,357.15 points and a low of 35,261.75 points. On Monday,the sensex closed at 35,160.36 points as Tuesday was a trading holiday. The sensex is trading at 35,249.01 points up by 88.65 points or 0.25 per cent. On other hand, the broader 51-scrip nifty at national stock exchange opened at 10,783.85 points after closing at 10,739.35 points. The nifty is trading at 10,774.30 points in the morning.
