Man in New Delhi stabbed to death over monetary dispute A 24 years old man was stabbed to death by some men following a monetary dispute,police said today. The incident was reported late night yesterday when the police was informed that the man identified as Mohit was lying in southeast Delhi's Dakshinpuri area with stab injuries. Banks received highest ever fake currency after Demonetisation:   The banks,including those in the private,public and cooperative sectors and other financial institutions collectively generated 400 per cent more suspicious transaction reports(STRS) at over 4.73 lakhs such dossiers during 2016-2017,the report said. IIT-Kanpur student commits suicide in hostel room Kanpur: A student of the Indian Institute of Technology committed suicide on wednesday by hanging himself from the ceiling in his hostel room,police said. Police identified the victim as Bheem singh,a third year student of ph.D.said senior superintendent of police(AKHILESH KUMAR). Singh,who hailed from Ferozabad,was staying at a hostel on IIT campus,the ssp said.Singh's  friends told police that he was under severe stress,the ssp  and added,'The reason behind extreme step is yet to be ascertained as the victim had left no suicide note behind."
