Markets open on a higher note on wednesday The 30-scrip sensitive index(sensex) on wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade. The sensx of the BSE after opening at 35,328.91 points and touched a high of 35,357.15 points and a low of 35,261.75 points. On Monday,the sensex closed at 35,160.36 points as Tuesday was a trading holiday. The sensex is trading at 35,249.01 points up by 88.65 points or 0.25 per cent. On other hand, the broader 51-scrip nifty at national stock exchange opened at 10,783.85 points after closing at 10,739.35 points. The nifty is trading at 10,774.30 points in the morning.

The petition filled by congress Mps partap singh bajwa and amee harshadyay yajnik has been listed for hearing before a bench of justices A K Sikri,S A Bobde,N V Ramana,Arun  Mishra and A K Goel.
